Beyond the Class 1.

October 25 I attended the Richard Bland cookout. It was really interesting because I never been to a cookout where it was cold outside. Most people have cookouts when it feels good outside. I wonder why they waited so late in the semester to have this event. Over then that it was nice and the food was good. Many people came out, I seen many faces I never seen before. I even got to meet our school president. She stood at the front of the line waiting to shake hands and to ask “what subject we enjoyed most?”

Laura & O'Conner

I thought Laura and O'Conner was going end good. him "going steady" never crossed my mind. I think his intentions was  good but he shouldn't have took it that far. I think if O'Conner wasn't going steady maybe it would be a "Laura and O'Conner". I know Laura was hurt because is was in love with  O'Conner. you cant be mad a O'Conner because he didn't know. I don't think he would have too it that far if he knew.

The Glass Menagerie

This story seem like a good story. Its not a short story like the other stories we have read in Sweeney's class. I think this family is really interesting, everyone has there own inner problems. starting with the mother Amanda Wingfield, she is clinging badly to another time and place. Laura Wingfield, the daughter lives in her own illusions because she never found contact with the real world.Lastly, the son Tom Wingfield. he dreams to escape from "a trap".
